Our Why

There had to be a better way

I didn't start Zax for the of love spreadsheets. I started it because accounting shouldn't be this hard.

After years in big firm accounting, I kept asking: "Why do we do it this way?"

When COVID forced everyone remote, the answer became clear. The expensive offices, rigid schedules, and unnecessary complexity weren't adding value - just cost and friction.

That's when Zax was born. We stripped away everything that doesn't serve and built a firm around one idea: put the client first, and the accounting will follow.

We're online for convenience. We use technology to enhance connection, not replace it.
